General: With the Window-Eyes script QuickSpell version 1.4 for Spell Checking, Handy Tech has created another efficient implementation of ATC. This script is improving the editing of documents of Active Braille or Modular Evolution. QuickSpell was tested with Windows 7 in combination with Microsoft Office Word 2007 und Microsoft Office Outlook 2007. Discription: When the tactile reading position on the Braille display is reaching a spelling mistake QuickSpell indicates the misspelled word by blinking twice and the number of successions for corrections is announced. When doing a double click with a cursor rooting key of the word to be corrected within a time frame of 0,5 to 2 seconds, the successions for corrections are displayed. This so-called Braille frame is shown on the left or right end of the Braille display separated by a Marker with all 8 dots set. The correction are also displayed by pressing the key combination (left space) (right space) on the Braille display. Scrolling within the successions, for the different correction, is done by using the Triple Action keys. Always the frame actually read is scrolled. So if reading the corrections the different successions are scrolled and if reading within the text the scrolling is within the document. When reading the successions within the correction frame they are announced. By clicking a cursor rooting key at one of the successions, it is selected. The frame will close and the correction is completed. When pressing the cursor rooting key at the Marker the frame will close without modification. Optionen: Ctrl-Alt-Q toggles QuickSpell on/off. QuickSpell has a configuration dialog. This can be selected by the Apps Menu (Apps/QuickSpell/Settings) or by pressing Ctrl-Alt-u. The configuration dialog contains the following options: QuickSpell on /off: toggles the script on/off Position of the correction: displayed on the left or right end of the Braille display. The position is selectable by Ctrl-Alt-l for left and by Ctrl-Alt-r for right. Announce corrections: toggles on/off for reading the successions for correction and announce the number of corrections.

This seems to be a braille-specific app, and is encrypted (so the source cannot be verified).
