Press Scroll Lock to mark the start of a selection with the WE cursor. If inactive, it is activated and routed to the focus position. Press Shift-Scroll Lock to hear the block of text between the start and current position, in accordance with the mouse boundary setting. Press Control-Shift-Scroll Lock to copy the block to the clipboard. Press Alt-Shift-Scroll Lock to append it to the clipboard instead. Press Alt-Scroll Lock to review the content of the clipboard. The end position may be marked either after or before the start position, and the block is defined to be the text in between. If the clipboard contains text and you append a block, a line break is inserted as a divider. An alternate mode of operation occurs if a start point is not set, or if it is the same as the end point, thereby not specifying a block of text. In this mode, the value of the control under the WE cursor is used instead of a block between points. Another option is to copy the entire text of the active window with Windows-Scroll Lock, or to append it with Alt-Windows-Scroll Lock. You may hear the window text that would be captured with Shift-Windows-Scroll Lock. This global script requires GW Toolkit.
