Braille Sense and Voice Sense Public Beta 3 Firmware Available Now!

A new firmware update for our popular Sense notetakers is now available for download. Although we have tested this release very carefully and feel that it is stable, there may be some issues or problems which we are not aware of. Rest assured that any problems or stability issues which are found during the beta cycle will be addressed. If you do not feel comfortable running beta software in your notetaker, we ask that you wait until the official firmware has been released. This new firmware introduces many enhancements, bug fixes, and several new features (including Audible support). For detailed information regarding the features and enhancements of this new firmware update, please read the Sense Notetaker Changes for Public Beta 3 Readme. If you have purchased GW Sense Navigation, you may also want to read through the Sense Navigation Changes For Public Beta 3 Readme. Once you have read through one or both of the readme files, you can choose to download the specific Sense firmware for your notetaker from one of the download links below.

PLEASE NOTE: You must be sure to download the correct firmware for your Sense notetaker. Installing the incorrect firmware in your Sense notetaker will not be successful. Please follow the Sense firmware upgrade instructions located in Knowledgebase Article KB1091 to perform an offline upgrade. Since this is a beta, the online upgrade option is not available. Once this firmware becomes officially available, you will be able to upgrade using the online method.

• Voice Sense (For the smallest PDA for the blind!)
• Braille Sense (Original) (For the original Sense notetaker!)
