Naming Windows Vista Parts
by Jeremy Curry on Friday, March 9 2007To give you a brief look at some of the wonderful mundane tasks we ensue here just to make things easier for you (the consumer) to learn how to use Vista, Aaron and I spent some time yesterday coming up with names for the various parts of the new Vista start menu, since Microsoft seems to have declined to do so. Smile. So, we have decided to name the new parts of the Vista Start menu as follows: 1. Start Search edit box 2. Common Items list 3. Shutdown/Power Tasks 4. Shortcuts list 5. All Programs treeview Yes, we actually have to sit around and think these things up. Grin.
