I think I've finally figured out this whole company Facebook thing. They certainly don't make it easy.
Anywho, you can now access the main GW Micro Facebook page, as well as the GW Micro group page.
Feel free to add me (aaron@gwmicro.com) as a friend for even more Facebook interlinking.
Sorry again for any confusion.
Facebook sounds interesting.
I'll need to see if I can access that page here-I'm currently accessing this blog through the school network here, so we'll see. (many sites don't work.)
Anyways, It's been ages from the last time I commented.
If you wish to eamil me, Feel free:

(I've) already used this email address on at least 3 or more mailing lists without any spam visiting, aside from the fact that I accidentally (ages ago) subscribed to some list about a scanning program called Omney page, and now regret that..but oh well.
I'm not about to reply to Spam.
P.s.
I have a question that is rather debatable, but here goes.
What do you think is better?
A laptop computer, or a braille note-taker?
I have just previously returned my laptop (for a number of reasons) Mainly 1. The battery life is horrible. The battery lasts about 5 hours, maybe 6. 2. I don't like walking around with a laptop, I already dropped it once, denting the lid in the process (woops!) I also suspect that dropping it killed the Intel built-in wireless radio, as connections to wireless networks had been sucking badly, requiring me to connect my laptop up to a USB wireless card.
I am hoping to obtain a Braille Sense Plus through my V.R councilor.
Arron, as a member of GW Micro, what do you personally think of the Braille Sense Plus?
My experiences upto the present consist of using an extremely crappy note-taking product (for over 5 years) called a BNS (Braille 'N Speak) wich I think has a speech synthesizer based upon the Artic Transport or something like that.
The other product (from my school that I'm finishing up my final year of) has been a BrailleNote MPower. While I think the BrailleNote is okay, there is no doubt---8GB of built-in Flash? Is...great!
One dumb thing I did though,
was that about five months back or so I bought a large 1TB (about 930GB) partitioned space USB 2.0 external hard-drive.
I wonder (but due to my experiences with the BrailleNote,) if the braille Sense Plus would be able to read something like that? (we're talking about a hard-drive) formatted with NTFS, for one thing. The other reason I wish I could gain access to that is that I have thousands of ogg formatted music files. Ruffly 45GB worth of music albums! Anyone interested in some? I have enough music nearly to do an Internet Radio broadcast now!
Anyways, I'm still waiting on the BrailleSense it'll be a while. But if anything new comes up, I'll let you folks know!
