    "less than reliable mortgage people"

    Are there any other kind?

Hey, at least you have the most important thing of all. No, not family. Internet access! [grin]

Sorry, I'm going to be honest. What is the GWMicro blog for? My own blog has quite a wide scope but then again, it's a personal space where I can write about what ever I want. I think a blog such as this though has to be a bit more defined. What do you want to achieve with this Blog. Is it to put a public and human face on to GW Micro? Do you want to show that you are actively working on problems facing your client base or, do you want to use it as a portal for your employees to rant about matters that don't necessarily have any relevants to what I perceive to be the vast majority of GW Micro clients? Don't get me wrong. I enjoy your blog posts and that of other GW Micro Employees but I think more definition is required here. Why not set up your own private blog, place a link to it on the GW Micro Blog and leave this blog for technology related posts that have at least some baring on the development of this rappidly growing product.
These are my opinions and I don't mean to cause offence by them but I do stand by them. I am very interested in blogging and the potential that it offers to companies such as GW Micro but clarity and objectives are always useful.

Darragh, you'll notice at the top of the GW Micro blog page, the following: "GW Micro Blog: Thoughts and Insights from the GW Micro Team." As to what those thoughts and insights are, well that's up to us.

Raul is a new member of the family, and hearing about his trial and tribulations about getting to Fort Wayne from Denver, all to work at GW Micro is, in my opinion, more than relevant.

We don't want this blog to define what we post, but rather let our posts define this blog, be they personal, or otherwise.

The point is that you get to hear a personal side of GW Micro that you don't normally have access to.

Hi. Let me just say to you Raul that I have never dealt with a mortgage company nor a moving company. And from what I just read, I'm not sure I want to, smile. I've moved approximately four times in my life and all moves have been right here in my home town and with the help of family or friends. Hang in there, Raul. Thank you for providing a human face to GW Micro to both Raul and Aaron. Oh, let's not forget Jeremy or Doug. Lighten up a little and enjoy a human side to this great company. However, you have a right to your opinion.

    Hello again,
I'm glad you didn't take offence. Again, I'll reitterate that I have enjoyed all the posts from all of the contributores to this blog and will continue to read and likely enjoy them. I just wanted to write my humble opinion to get the opinions of others. I'll also add that I think GW have made great leaps in their product in recent years and the recent public face that you have made visible brings you yet another step closer to your customers. Anything you do in that regard can only be viewd as posative.

Personally, I think the GW Micro blog was a brilliant idea and I'm always looking forward to the next entry to pop up in my Firefox Live Bookmark feed subscription. Raul, I can sympathize. I'm almost, but not quite, thirty-years-old, and I've moved thirty-two times. You do the math. Obviously, not all of those were smooth. *grin*
