In 1996 I purchased Window-Eyes 1.0 and began to use it with Windows 3.1. As I listened to the tutorials and read the manuals, I grew to love the product that much more. I did not have Internet access at the time, but in 1997 that all changed when I purchased Window-Eyes 2.0 so I could use Windows 95. Wow, then I became a sure-enough computer junky! As a student at the university of Alabama I needed some reliable screen access so I could do the truckload of homework some of those teachers handed us! Well, at that time they used some other screen reader, which wasn't worth a toot, which name I won't call. Now a graduate of the UA and local youth leader for a local church, I have followed GW Micro up until the latest release, Window-Eyes 7.11. Window-Eyes has made me able to communicate with friends and family as well as do other important computer tasks too! On behalf of blind individuals all around the world, I want to thank Dan and Doug for forming this company and allowing us to have access to the world through means of computer and Internet technology.
