GWKB2000 : Activating the Readit Software

To activate the software, you will need to activate Readit as well as the voices that come with Readit.

Activate the Readit Application

  1. Press Alt-T to open the Tools menu
  2. Down Arrow to Application Licenses
  3. Press Enter
  4. Tab to the Copy to Clipboard button
  5. Press Enter
  6. Send an email to activation@visionaid-international.com with the hardware ID and serial number of your device.  You can find the serial number on the bottom of your unit or contact the dealer from whom you purchased the unit.

Activate the Readit Voices

  1. Press Alt-T to open the Tools menu
  2. Down Arrow to Voice Licenses
  3. Press Enter
  4. Tab to the Copy to Clipboard button
  5. Press Enter
  6. Send an email to activation@visionaid-international.com with the hardware ID and serial number of your device.  You can find the serial number on the bottom of your unit or contact the dealer from whom you purchased the unit.
After you receive an email from activation@visionaid-international.com, you will need to access both dialogs as mentioned in the steps above and paste in the code you received in an email to the Activation edit box.  Then, Tab to the Activate button and press Enter.  Make sure you do this for both the application and the voice license as both need to be activated.
