GWKB1096 : Getting and Reading the Current Line Number in Word 2007

Getting access to line numbers, and other miscellaneous document information, on the status line in Microsoft Word 2007 is easily accomplished in just a few steps:

1. Open a blank document in Word 2007.
2. Then, press F6 and you should hear "Page Number button."
3. Press the Context menu key.
4. Down Arrow to Line Number, and press Enter.
5. Press ESC twice.

You can now press Ctrl-Ins-S, and you will hear the line number for the current line you are on while in Word 2007.
