GWKB1080 : Searching Through Database Records In The Voice Sense And The Braille Sense

These instructions are relevant to firmware version 5.51 of all Sense notetakers. The term "Sense notetaker" is used to refer to all Braille Sense and Voice Sense models.

Did you know that it is possible to search for all records in a database without entering any search criteria?
­The following information applies to both the database and the address book programs of the Sense notetakers.

There are times when you need to search for all records in a database, whether it's because you want to see how many records you have, or because you are searching for some information which is hard to find. A good example of this situation is when you want to search for someone's record and you cannot remember the exact spelling of their first or last name.

1. To search all records, open the database or address book. You will be in search mode by default.
2. If you are focused on the first edit box, simply press the ENTER key.
3. When you press ENTER on an empty edit box, all records are displayed in the results list box.
4. Now you can use the record navigation keys to find the information you need.
