GWKB1038 : No Interruptability in Internet Explorer

Symptom: After launching Internet Explorer, Window-Eyes interruptability is non-existent, keystrokes are ignored, and menus and dialogs are not readable with any hot key, or key press.

Cause: A conflicting toolbar or application is installed that is causing key presses to be blocked from Window-Eyes.

Solution: Conflicting toolbars can be disabled using the View, Toolbars pull-down in Internet Explorer. Conflicting applications can be removed using the Windows Add/Remove Programs control panel.

The following toolbars and applications are known to block keystrokes from Window-Eyes:
  • AOL Toolbar
  • Spyware Doctor
