Window-Eyes Lease-To-Own (or LTO) can be activated using an Internet connection.

Initial Activation Using the Internet

When choosing to activate your Lease-To-Own copy of Window-Eyes using the Internet, you will be prompted with a dialog containing the following:

Product Activate And License Return. This product requires activation, and will attempt to do so using the Internet. If you have a firewall, it may warn you that Internet Activate.exe is trying to access the Internet and recommend that you block it. You must allow this program access to the Internet or you will have to contact us to activate or return your license using the License Manager program. Internet authorization is much easier. Enter your 15 digit license number in the space below: License Number edit box. Activate Product button. Return License button. Exit button.

The first time you install an LTO copy of Window-Eyes, your first 15 digit license number will automatically be entered in the License Number edit box for you. If you are activating a new license number, you will need to enter your new license number manually in the License Number edit box. After your number has been entered in the License Number edit box (either automatically, or manually), TAB to the Activate Product button, and press ENTER. You will be notified if the activation was successful, or if there were errors. The Return License button is not used during the activation process. The Exit button will cause the Internet Activate application to close.

If you do not have Internet access, please contact GW Micro at 260-489-3671 to activate your Window-Eyes LTO.

Subsequent License Activations

You can access the Internet Activate dialog at any time by using the Internet Activate shortcut inside the Window-Eyes program group in the Start Menu. You will need to access this dialog any time you are activating a new license number.
