Hi all,
This beta now allows you to specify departure or arrival dates and time when
seeking transit directions. This means you can specify that you need to be
at your destination by a specific time, and Google will give you the times
you need to catch the bus or subway, etc. Now that you can perform a "look
around" from any point along your route, I've noticed that doing so at the
location where you catch the transit seems to show the subway or bus station
as one of the places you can select; if you choose to go to the Google page
for that place, Google then shows you all the routes leaving that station
immediately after the time specified in your directions request. (I
*really* wish my city had chosen to put its transit data on Google).
Also, it includes some important bug fixes. It can be downloaded from:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/11745142/Remind_Me_Where.wepm
Enjoy, and please do submit problems or ideas for enhancements or
improvements or wish-list items to acorange@comcast.net
