Window-Eyes 8.0: New Features Webinar Recording Now Available for Download!
Hi Rick,

I had done those things and had improved it a lot. Then I started to have some things slow it down, went into the options and the pretty listing got checked again, don't know why or how.
I was not sure either about highlighting and if it affects any thing, but probably any movement on the screen does.
I do not do the end completion for I found it being a pain when having tab settings and such get placed automatically.

I don't worry about line numbering but might experiment with it in the future when programs get a lot longer.

Have not tested since my last changes but will do for the next homework assignment due.

Hi Bruce here are some more things to set to see if they help:
Open vb.net and under the Tools>Options menu item:
expand TextEditor arrow down to All Languages and expand it.
Uncheck Autolist Members and Parameter Information
Uncheck Virtual space
You might uncheck Word Wrap to avoid wrapping for now
Uncheck visual gliffs for word wrap
Check Line Numbers
Uncheck Navigation Bar
Arrow down to Basic tab group
Note the above settings should have been applied for Basic, if not apply the above settings to the Visual Basic "General" Tab group.
Also, In General Tab, Check Enable Single click navigation
arrow down to vb specific tab
Check auto insert of end constructs if you like to have the End If and other end tags auto inserted when you create a If statement or Sub / End Sub et...
Uncheck Pretty listing
Uncheck Error Correction Suggestions
Uncheck Highlighting of references and keywords ( not sure but might impact WindowEyes).
Try these out and let me know if things change.
Note, you can always ReSet the options just keep track of the ones you change.
