About the update to my Polyglot appDate:
Mon, Apr 2, 2012 12:29:16 pmHello all
For those of you who have installed Polyglot, I have just uploaded an
update. It fixes a crash which could occur under certain circumstances
on exiting the dialog. I also fixed an association issue. In an
overreaction to people having a problem of the app not seeming to
register, I associated globally whatever I could and that turned out to
not be the thing to do. You will se that you have two global apps
installed, tranlang and utf8toutf16. Please unload them. When you then
install Polyglot, all should be fine.
Many thanks to Chip who alerted me to these issues.
Unfortunately there seems to be some size restriction when translating a
file. So far we have not been able to determine quite how big the file
may be. I managed to translate a file of 6 KB but much larger files
wouldn't work. As soon as I have an idea of the maximum size, I'll work
on a feature to automatically split the file into manageable chunks to
translate. This will be invisible to the user. But just give a bit of
time for this, please.
Kind regards
Christo
