Windows & Setting Up?Date:
Wed, Dec 14, 2011 6:23:54 pmHi Folks!
Since I was having so many problems with my Dell XP I decided to have them send me a Windows 7. When installing under the fast quick start setup, powering up was no problem.
I then changed the settings to global the next time I powered up the voice started then was cut off. It does not talk on power up any more.
Also, when attempting to download new apps it would not let me, why is that coming up? Unless there are so many permissions which need to be set, this is my first machine above XP I have ever used.
Another question on using Windows 7 are there certain settings that must be done or set to make the Windows 7 work smoothly? I wonder if there is a way to get a more classic XP type setup for Windoweyes on the Windows 7 machine?
If not, I will just stay with the XP machine and its issues...
Sincerely
Bruce
