class 11 materials are up nowDate:
Mon, May 9, 2011 9:57:55 pmHi all,
Sorry for the delay, but the audio and the accompanying text file for
scripting class #11 from this past Sunday have been posted.
For those not following the discussions today, this class was a
demonstration of the new UIDesign app from GW Micro, which allows you to
easily edit an XML file without having to understand the exact syntax of the
XML. It makes the housekeeping chores of updating an app a breeze.
We also demonstrated the "internationalization" of an app using UIDesign,
along with translation being done by another app which facilitates access to
the Google language translation facility (which may be better than nothing).
The concepts behind how a multi-language app functions, and how easy it is
to achieve, were also discussed.
