homework for the scripting classDate:
Mon, Apr 4, 2011 8:51:06 pmHi all,
a big part of my wife's job is to be our computer trainer at our
organization (we work together). And she says I should be assigning
homework!
so ... for next Sunday (please don't post the answer to this anywhere, let
each person work it out if they care to): the example script I used has a
flaw; not just the error I found and corrected in class, but a logical flaw.
if a file is opened, closed, and reopened it will caused it to yield it's
error message erroneously. the homework: figure out how to fix the script
so it won't do this, but will behave properly (hint: this involves a second
event handler).
Anyone who wants can send the completed assignment to me, and I'll let you
know how your solution would work.
good luck,
Chip
