I just got back from church and wish to thank all 3 of you. My mention
of HTML was only for condensing scripts into a study book, "NOT" script
writing in HTML. In fact mentioned it as a format on how to write a
tutorial; as Chip and others to a certain degree are attempting to do.
In other words just posting an approach to tutorial writing. State the
syntax, show an example, then even offer a link to run the example and offer
an edit field to change and experiment with; which is what the W3 tutorials
do.
I apologize for even mentioning HTML, but that was to allow someone to
make up there own book of links to each section of examples or explanation.
Just did not realize it would start such a fire storm.
But, as I have found out in the beginning, there is much frustration
when documentation for programming languages is either written in a
spotty/scattered form or, by engineers that can not communicate in simple
form, by using technical words that are meaningless.
Keep on working on it Chip. In the end I am sure a real nice, simple,
step by step, tutorial will be available. If it weren't only available
yesterday; which means for first time users, hurry up and wait...
