GW Micro Congratulates Winner of Sense Notetaker PromotionDate:
Tue, May 4, 2010 2:54:51 pm GW Micro Congratulates Winner of Sense Notetaker PromotionTo celebrate our 20th year in business, GW Micro held a special promotion in April to recognize our most valuable asset, our customers. We asked you to submit testimonials on how your Sense notetaker has positively impacted your life.
GW Micro would like to extend a sincere "Thank You" to our loyal customers who submitted testimonials. We received many inspiring personal stories confirming the positive impact from using the Voice Sense, Braille Sense Plus and other Sense notetakers.
Of all the submissions, we randomly selected one winner. We are very happy to announce that Martha L. of Ohio is the recipient of a $100 Visa Gift card and a Louis Braille Commemorative Coin.
Martha L.'s testimonial focused on how the Braille Sense Plus has enhanced her life both personally and professionally.
"I've had several notetakers in my lifetime, but none can equal the practicality and durability of the Braille Sense Plus 32.
Practically speaking, this piece of equipment helps me at my work by keeping the necessary records I must maintain, and also helps me find data I need to give customers. For pleasure, the Braille Sense Plus reads me books that it assists me in downloading them from various sources. When I need to relax, it accommodates a jump drive which has my Bible on it.
Its calculator helps me maintain my checkbook, the radio gives me music suitable to my mood, and the recording ability of the Media center helps me record my French Lessons. The keyboard design is such that I can use one hand to operate it. It's one-handed mode assists those who aren't able to operate it with both hands. Braille is always there for the times when speech isn't desired. In meetings, I can take notes without disturbing others, and people are often fascinated as to how it works, and what it's for.
If I forget how to do something, the help section gives enough detail as needed for the particular question. The schedule Manager keeps track of my appointments, and reminds me of other things that must be accomplished.
As to durability, the protective carrying case keeps it snug as I go from place to place, and, occasionally when it slides on to the bus floor by accident, it is kept firm and solid because of the way it's made. It is easy to carry, and just the right weight as to not be difficult. I give it a run for its money and it's worth every penny and serves my needs well."
GW Micro has come a long way since its humble beginning 20 years ago. We have grown into a global business that has continued to pioneer software and hardware technologies for people who are blind or visually impaired.
We again would like to extend a sincere thank you to all who submitted testimonials. As GW Micro continues 20 years of business excellence, we plan to conduct additional promotions for our valued customers throughout 2010.
Thank you for your continuing support!
