Wed, Jan 3, 2007 2:25:18 pmHi Don,
A hyperactive window is not a good way to perform such an action because it
would only speak if Winamp is the focused window. I did the same with
autohotkey wich allows me to announce the song title through the sapi5 or
window-eyes default synthesizer just by pressing a hotkey.
If you are interested in this small program, please contact me offline.
Cheers,

I use winamp and play a lot of mp3 files. The title of the mp3 is
in the title of the window which you can access with control-shift-t.
What I'd like to do is create a hyperactive window which would voice the
track title each time it changes.
I'm trying to figure out just how I could set the window up to trigger on a
title change and read the information.
I could always set up a window with the command to read the title bar, but
not sure as to what change criteria I could look for since you can't
apparently define the title as a window because you can't seem to get the
mouse pointer there.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Don
