but there is another approach which is quite simple to implement and
adjust from within Eudora itself.

c until you find content concentrator
tab once to find the preview pane (which I don't use) and tab again
to find the message window. Then select none (for no concentration)
or terse (which gets rid of all headers except, I think, the sender
and receiver) or compact (which shows even less header
information). For general reading using the set files supplied with
WE 6.0, either terse or compact gives you the message with either
very limited or just slightly more header information. If you want
to look at all the header info, just set the message window
concentration setting to none, exit the options screen and message,
then reopen the message.
One disadvantage or advantage of the concentrator, depending on what
you want, is that messages to which you are reading the reply are, so
to speak, concentrated right off the screen. There are other options
in the content concentrator control with which I have not played, and
they may allow you to keep on screen more of the message being
quoted. Alternatively, you can simply exit the message, change the
concentration setting to none, and reload the message to be able to
read the quoted material.

I believe, and I'm only speaking from personal experience here, but
when I wanted to get rid of the headers with eudora, I actually had
to go into the eudora.ini file and edit some things, unfortunately,
I don't remember exactly how I did it, but I can give the .ini file
a look and see if I can figure it out. I know that at some point in
the file, I had to edit it to where it would say tabooheaders, but I
can't remember exactly where it's at.

Chris Belle drunkenly stammered:Hey in eudora I notice that
sometimes certain lines don't read but that if I use the microsoftviewer everything reads.
The problem is that I have to wade through lots of header info, isthere a way to jump right to the message without having to deal
with all the header stuff? If I disabble the viewer then it will land below the header but I
will sometimes miss text.So how can I get the best of both worlds?
I'm running eudora 5.21 which I want to stay with if I can.
