Hello Hannah:

I have found that some of the MP3 players like the Sony versions have software that is awkward to use with screen readers. However other MP3 players that Windows XP recognizes as a USB mass storage device like a Jump Drive work very nicely. This is because I like to use Windows Explorer to copy files on to the player. If this is the case with the model you are getting, then you don't need to use the software to transfer files.

I am getting a mp3 made by goodmans for christmas. Just woundering if
the software what comes with it will work with window eyes or is there
another programe which i could use to damload songs on to it I am using
xp home with window eyes 6.0
