The problem with Audacity is that if you layer on too many tracks they
start
being off slightly from each other. Sonar is quite useable with WE.

Window-Eyes works quite well with Sonar, which used to be called Cakewalk
Audio. It's professional audio recording and production software, and
it's
relatively expensive - maybe around $400. The open source program
Audacity
has been doing a lot of work on accessibility of late, and that looks
promising. It started life as a sound editor, but you can do multi-track
recording with it. I've taken a look at the latest version, a seemingly
stable 1.32Beta, and there is a ton of keyboard support:
