Mon, Oct 30, 2006 3:10:58 pmLet me try to explain. The .5 does not mean half an upgrade. There
is nothing magic that makes a point 5 upgrade only half an
upgrade4. Go take a look at all the additions in 6.0. Thanks.

I understand the idea of sma upgrades a little, but half an upgrade?
5.5 to 6.0 is half an upgrade, isn't it? If I were upgraded from 5.0
to 6.0, certainly I'd understand the $150, but not from 5.5 pro to 6.0. Please
explain it to me since in my later circumstances, $150 is a hard
pill to swallow. $75 per year as in the updates for other products
like Kurzwile 1000 11 will be $95, how about a compromise of $100 for those
users who update from 5.5 to 6.0? With a tight budget and all it
would make a huge difference to me.
