As part of my university, I was invited to download the personal edition
of Ad Aware, and I was not impressed. Yes, it works with the mouse keys,
but Window-Eyes doesn't announce what controls I'm on, apart from custom
controls. So I took it off and use Windows Firewall as my firewall and
Mozilla Firefox as my browser. You may be wondering what this is to do
with spyware? Well Firefox does protect you from viruses or spyware
getting installed on your PC. I do have, however, AVG Free as my
antivirus in case I do get a virus accidentally. So I don't personally
recommend Ad Aware, however there may be people out there who'd had
little or no problems using Ad Aware. If so, please give me some tips on
making the most of Ad Aware. Thanks.
