Ok that is not unusual depending on what you are reading. When a sighted person moves along on a screen there will appear a box around links and this happens when using Window Eyes as well. The cursor does not follow what they are reading unless they move the mouse to that point. Usually what a sighted person does is down arrow on a page or use the bar at the side of the page to move up and down. Neither of these two things moves the mouse.
Window Eyes does move the screen down in a manner so that whatever you are reading will appear somewhere on the visible screen. If need be you can do a find for a word and the text will be highlighted and further Window Eyes will move to what you wish to find.

This is probably a naïve question, as I have been using WE for years. When I am using WE, my sighted friend does not see a visible cursor to show where I am reading. Can this be modified, so my sighted friend can follow along with me?

Thanks,

Rick
