Fri, Jun 30, 2006 3:38:51 pmIf you have a windoes Xp disk, look in the directory called Power Toys, I
think. There's a wonderful program called Tweak-UI which allows you to
configure all kinds of things including loging in automatically. You give
it your user name, tab past the password box, hit OK, and the next restart
should just log you in. Very cool.

|
| Hi:
|
| Does anyone know how a Window-Eyes user can get rid of the Windows XP
| Password prompt? I talked to someone who uses window-eyes, who has no
| passwords defined for her user account and whose account is
| the only one
| on the computer. She gets a password prompt from Windows when the
| computer starts, even though, again, she has no password. We
| looked in
| User Accounts under control panel to see how we could get rid of the
| password prompt so it won't come up, and all we found were
| places to go
| to create a password and manage metwork passwords. We went to change
| name and didn't find anything there either.
|
| Does anyone know how to get rid of the password prompt so it
| doesn't pop
| up when the computer starts? How can this be done accessibly with
| Window-eyes?
|
| Thanks,
|
