when you go to the combo box press enter on it to turn off browse mode. then press alt down arrow to open the list of items. then you can arrow down the list without going to the next web page.
then turn browse mode back on and do what ever you need to do to activate the link.

I have Window-eyes 5.5 with Windows xp.

On some pages in a combo box when you arrow up or down to the next or previous selection it automatically loads the page. Anyway to make this stop. I tried setting suspend to all and autoload to off. This prevented the next page from automatically loading so it could be read, but it still went to that page.
