Hi Scott, and anyone else using WindowEyes with eclipse.

I am one of the eclipse developers, and I encourage you to open an eclipse
bug report if you are having a specific problem using a part of eclipse
with WindowEyes, and I will do my best to address it.

The eclipse bug reporter is at this link: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/
In order to keep automated spam to a minimum, the eclipse bug reporter
requires that you first create an account at this link:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/createaccount.cgi

If the eclipse bug reporting web site proves to be difficult to use with a
screen reader, feel free to email a description of the problem directly to
me, and I will enter it into the bug reporter.

Thanks,
Carolyn

RE: VisualStudio question

Hi Rick,

I have no experience with Visual Studio as I am firmly entrenched in the
java/J2EE world. However, if you decide not to use VS, Eclipse works
fairly well with Windoweyes. You can't use everything, but it is
still a useful IDE. Also if you go this rout, there is a "for purchase"
pluggin called myeclipse that is very handy if you are needing to do any
sort of JSP, Hibernate EJB or other web application stuff.

Subject: VisualStudio question

Hi GW Gang:
I'm considering building a WebSite with attendent Desk-Top programs. Here
is what one of the Blind Programming heavy-weights told me about Visual
Studio Accessibility. I did mention to Dan Wierich that they needed to
enable MSAA support for
Visual Studio 2005 in Window Eyes. I don't know whether this has been
done
yet, and so it's worth checking with GW Micro for the current status of
their support for Visual Studio 2005.
So, gang, I'm checking. My experience with Vs.Net 2005 a few months ago
was not functionally satisfactory under Window Eyes. The Professional
Edition of Visual Studio is expensive so I'd like to know how accessible
that product is today under Windoweyes. It is quite complex with Class
structure mappings and all sorts of dynamic feedback.
The alternative is to design and implement under an Apache, MySql and PHP
/ Java Script environment. I'm up in the air as to which way to go as of
this question.
Thanks for any help.
