Hi all.
I just wish to add a feature request whereby users of Braille displays can have the full display length used for scrolling through documents.
The suggestion is that the scrolling settings should allow for a compressed mode which enables all of braille display's cells to be used particularly at the right end of short lines of text.
I am currently reading a lengthy PDF document, and it is hard work not getting a true 40 cell line of text.
This would be great alongside my often requested feature of auto-scroll, which is a feature of all Braille notetakers and included in at least one other screen reader.
I speculate that the problem for Braille display users is linked to the fact that all documents are formatted with line lengths of many more than 40 characters. My request probably requires improvements to internal braille operation within Window-eyes to bypass native document formatting for better handling by Braille displays. I do have the setting of scroll braille display length to fit my display.
Those who own the HIMS notetakers (in particularly the Braille Sense) may have some idea of what I am wanting to see implemented.
