Personally, I like Windows Live Mail. It works well with screen readers
and does everying I can imagine having to do with an Email program, and
it's free.

Max,

After learning about a few options to set, I have been very happy with
Becky. One of the selling points to me is the fact that you can read a
message with the cursor provided by the client itself. I know we are
very lucky that virtualization and browse mode exist, but where I have
had to use either, it just seems to introduce other issues from time to
time. I also find myself uneasy with the constant changing of
Thunderbird. In case someone looks at message headers, I must admit
that I still use PMMail for some things due to network restrictions, but
as much as I like that program it has become outdated. There is no SSL,
for example. I have used Windows Live Mail in some instances, too, and
it works pretty well. One does use Browse Mode when reading messages,
but it seems to be pretty trouble-free there. You might want to try
that out. If you are going to change email addresses and you are
considering the OUTLOOK.COM or LIVE.COM services, Windows Live Mail
supports the protocol that allows one to more or less interface with the
web from a client to deal with mail. The advantage is that some
locations such as my employer will allow that kind of a connection but
non POP, IMAP, or SMTP. Outlook supports this as well through the
Outlook Connector, but Windows Live Mail has it built in. You will
probably find that there are as many opinions as people on the list when
it comes to email, though. Good Luck.

Best regards,

Steve Jacobson
