Wed, May 22, 2013 12:25:32 pmHi, Nolan.
Last time that happened to me was because Window-Eyes had somehow set its ap
security to a different setting. Open the WE control panel, Press Alt-A for
application, Enter on the ap management item in the menu, then P to open the
ap management dialog. When the dialog opens, Press Alt-Y to open the
security dialog. Make sure the radio buttons are set to the allow all aps
option, tab to OK and Press Enter.

I'm in a real panic here; I have a radio show tomorrow night that relies
heavily on Jeff Bishop's scripts, and tomorrow afternoon, I'm doing some web
evaluation for the Ohio secretary of state's office, and none of my apps
will run; they all say "starting," but nothing runs.
Yes, I can use other screen readers to do this eval, but I had really wanted
to include Window-Eyes in the meeting tomorrow.
I've done several scans with MSSE, and it insists that there are no problems
as far as viruses are concerned.
Please, anyone, if you have thoughts as to why my apps start but don't run,
I'd love to hear from you. The only one that seems to run is GW toolkit,
which leaves me a little us suspicious as to whether it really is running.
Regards,
Nolan
