Hi, all. I ran into the exact same problem. Here's how I solved it.
I was going to speak with tech support, but I explained my problem to Sue
since she works in the orders department. Whatever she entered in the
computer concerning my upgrade then allowed me to download and install the
upgrade. I did try to use the check for upgrades feature, however, I still
received an error after several progress announcements. So, in other words,
the only way I could upgrade was to go directly to the following link:
www.gwmicro.com/upgrade.
In this case, common sense tells me that more than two people have had the
exact same problem despite the fact that their copies of Window-eyes are
license and that the systems on Gw Micro's end don't recognize the serial
numbers or zip codes.
