It sounds as though you have the Internet Explorer Developer sidebar
open. If this is open, and Internet Explorer is launched with
Window-Eyes running, Internet Explorer will blow up. This is a known
Microsoft issue, and they have fixed the problem in Internet Explorer
10. You can toggle this sidebar with F12. The kicker is that you can't
get IE open if the sidebar is open, so you're stuck in a catch-22. You
can use Windows Narrator, or some other screen reader, to get the
sidebar turned off. I would then recommend upgrading to IE10 so that you
don't run into this problem again in the future.
