David,
Thank you for that idea. It worked like a charm just as you said it would.
I don't know why it happened this time and it has never happened before.
I now have them back.
Thank you again,
Shannon

Sometimes, switching between Sapi and Eloquence, does give results like this, on one of my systems.
What i find to work, is to choose Eloquence, then close down and restart Window-Eyes. When restarted, Eloquence will have all its voices intact again. Out of some reason, it happens on one of my systems, but not on the other.

Subject: Lost my elequence fvoices?
Good,
I switched my synth to the virtual synth to work from home over the weekend.
When I got back here to work I used the back up synth option to switch the voice back on. The funny thing is that my eloquence synth now has no voices any more. I had to use the SAPI eloquence voice.
With the eloquence synth I could chose the sound card to use and with the SAPI that is not a choice any longer.
What could have happened to my eloquence synth? Where did the voices go?
How could I get them back?
Thanks
Shannon
