Re: Miranda not working with WLMDate:
Fri, May 6, 2011 10:59:11 amI run Miranda 32 bit because 64 bit does not have many plug in's that
support it. they are still working on it and once it is done then I will
change to it. I run windows live messenger because when this is open and I
am logged in and I go to Miranda and log in to windows live messenger it
lets me. if I am not logged into windows live messenger I cannot log in to
it from Miranda.

Do I remember correct, that you are running 32-bit Miranda under 64-bit
windows? Or, is my memory totally messed up here. Well, my first question
would be, why 32-bit under 64-bit? And next, Miranda might not be the
biggest software to set up. Maybe if they have a 64-bit version, why not
give it a try?
Another thing, that puzzled me a bit, is why you try to run both WLM and
Miranda. Or, are you using WLM for mail, and Miranda for chatting? Just
curious.

about that, I am using the schools router at the moment so I can't check
that, but it is not just at school where this happens, it happens at home
and it happens at mickey d's wireless internet , it also happens when I am
connected to a router with a cable. it has to be something in my windows
but I can't figure it out. I did not have this problem in windows 7 32 bit
in my old computer. it started when I got my new computer. with my old
computer I would use it with the same routers as I do with my new
computer. there is nothing else I can do to trouble shoot this. I just
don't understand why it doesn't work, I think I am going to put my old
version of windows on here.

Juan,
What about the UPNP settings in Windows and in your router?

Juan,
As I and other users have not been able to reproduce this, I am not surewhat is causing Miranda to log you out of MSN. Make sure UPNP is enabled
on both your machine and in your router settings, and that "Accept UPNPConnections" is checked in the Network tab of the Miranda options. If
all of those check out, then try connecting directly to the internet fora while and bypass the router completely. Finally, what does setting up
a completely fresh profile yield?

you could take a look remotely? I have tried doing everything and Istill get the same results. another thing that lets wlm work is if I
have windows live messenger open and sign me on first and then startMiranda. not sure why though. please let me know thanks.

Juan,
First, make sure you are up-to-date with Miranda. Also be sure no
firewalls on your system are getting in the way. Pidgin does not workwith any Windows screen reader since it is GTK-based.

every other one like AIM and Skype. is there another client that willwork with window-eyes like Miranda? I have 64 bit windows 7 and I am
running Miranda 32 bit, should I get the 64 bit one? I also waswondering if Pidgin will work with window-eyes?
