Keith, tell them that if they think this is a rip-off, then they should look
at JAWS made by Freedom Scientific, because I think that the price of JAWS
is a bit more than WE, and FS doesn't allow you to pay on a payment plan the
way GW does.

Subject: Suggestions on how to help new users consider the Window-Eyes
payment plan?

Hi to everyone!
I had a few things I wanted to seek some help on.
I have some friends, some of wich are blind, some are sighted.
What I'm trying to do, mainly through me teling my friends about GW
Micro and Window-Eyes, is to encourage, ratehr than to discourage my
friends to at least consider the Window-Eyes demonstration copy
available at
http://www.GWMicro.com/Demo
or to take a look at the Window-Eyes payment plan.
I am no exbirt on this and do not pretend to be-I will never be one
anyways.
But what I'm wondering is this.
I've noticed a lot of my friends seem open at least to the idea of
trying the Window-Eyes demo.
But as soon as I show them the payment plan page, and read the details
on how much money they must pay off in total, I have gotten rather
argumentitive fighting comments such as: "This is a freakin rip off!"
This usually ends up with me insisting that in no way is it a rip off,
and that the people are more "blind" than I thought possible, and
usually ends up with me being at odds with a lot of them, insisting
that I'm crazy about standing up for some software program.
That may be true.
But I'm wondering, what other points can I make? How can I convince my
friends and others that the payment plan is not a rip off, and that GW
Micro wouldn't do such a thing?
I've been trying to figure out what I can say for a while now. But
can't seem to get a good idea started.
Any recommendations from anyone either as a Window-Eyes user who has a
payment plan, or from the staff and developers at GW Micro itself?
It would be nice to see the customer-base of GW Micro incrace. Any way
I can help to insure that this happens is what I am striving to do.
But I don't want to go too far and press the issue.
I suppose if people think that paying the Window-Eyes payment plan is
a rip off, then I suppose I can't do anything. Can I?
Thanks!
