Among many other things, the key combinations for doing things are
poorly documented, if at all, as you found out.
Choose the hotkey menu choice from within window eyes, and choose the
mouse hotkeys, and you can go down the list of functions, looking for
the ones you need, and seeing what hotkeys are assigned to them.
Unfortunately, some of them don't work (they're hard-coded to be the
standard layout commands), so when someone assigns them to have laptop
equivalents, they don't work. It's another grump.
If you are going to just use your laptop, you'll eventually figure
things out; but if you will be switching to a desktop keyboard, you may
find it hard to keep the 2 layouts straight. In that case, Raol from GW
suggested I just use the standard keyboard layout on my laptop. The
only thing you have to get used to is that to use the functions assigned
to the numeric pad, you have to simulate the numeric pad by holding down
the fn key on your laptop and using the group of keys where j k l and
semi are the bottom row of the numeric pad equivalent to the 1 2 3 and
enter. The keys above them, the u i o and p are the middle row (the 4 5
6 and plus), and so on. Remember, you're holding down the fn key and
then these keys of the right hand. You're also trying to hold down the
insert and maybe a control as well, so it's not easy, but with window
eyes, there isn't an easy laptop solution.
