Nope, I make no assumptions my friend. I'm just tossing out my experience
here and asking whether others have seen anything like it.

Some of you believe that it is the user's responsibility to figure out

whether a script is beneficial or even safe. However, under such a wide
open system is everyone so trusting that they can not see any potential

for maybe sneaking a bit of unwanted something into a script that is
difficult to detect. What if I decide that I would get a kick out of

knowing where you surf, where you shop, if you worship online and how?
Should I be that sort of disreputible human being, could I not include

that in a script?

We talk about security here and how to protect ourselves from viruses and
malware while using software that Window-eyes will work well with. But

that sort of protection shouldn't apply when using scripts? . When it
comes to scripts, we simply trust? And if you get nailed somehow then it

sucks to be you?

Maybe it's me, but I'm not sure i want to endorse that philosophy. . I
would much rather see some sort of protection put in place so that maybe I

could worry a bit less about such things.

Ok, I've said enough. May all your scripting experiences be happy ones.

You're making the faulty assumption that because they don't work well for

you, then they don't work well for anyone else. I don't notice this
myself. Perhaps it depends on how many scripts are being used.
