This is true. You need to first download, then install them from your HD.

Hi Raul and all. This is Sandra Fouts, at home. I haven't been onmy home computer and my throat is really messed up. But, I have
now double checked. The scripts do"not"! "not!, give me a choiceto run. It tells me to save or find. I think one of the gentleman
named Mike, on this list said his says the same thing. We bothhave windows xp home. I admit I haven't finished my emails. But I
don't think anyone from gw micro has explained this to us. Whydoes ours not give us the choice to run?

Raul, I'll need to look again when I get home. I don't remember itgiving me the choice to run. It got to the point where it said to find
or save. Otherwise I probably would have chosen, run.

Script downloads do the same. You can choose to save or run.
Many thanks.
Sandra Fouts said the following on 10/2/2008 10:54 AM:Hmm. Most of the time when I download something. If I want, I hit
enter on open, then I'm walked throught the instalation. It does notask me to save or find. Maybe it should be, find, save, or open, then a person could just open and windows could walk them through.
In fact, I think what people are usually asked when they want toinstall a program is do they want to run or save the program. Then
you can either save or run the program and install it. When I chosefind, I think it took me to microsoft, or something like that. Any
thoughts on this?Thanks.

Downloading and installing scripts is just like downloading andinstalling other programs you get on the Internet. We've made this as
easy as possible. So if you download the script package, just pressenter on it and Window-Eyes will guide you through the setup of the
package.
Hope this helps.
Sandra Fouts said the following on 10/2/2008 9:22 AM:Okay here's my question. Just where would you want it to go. Theinstall package ended up on my desktop. So now just what do I do
withit? Thanks.Sandra Fouts

High,
From the web site tab over to the package you want and press enter.A
dialog will come up asking you if you want to save the file or open
it.select save tell it where you want it to go and press enter. Now it
will be on your drive verses installing itself.
The only package I think you really need to do this with is theinstall packages script but that is just me.
