New EloquenceFix and VoiceRotor scripts availableDate:
Fri, Sep 5, 2008 2:04:54 pmHello everyone,
With the release of Window-Eyes 7.0 Beta 3, I am pleased to present you
with updated versions of the EloquenceFix and VoiceRotor scripts.
The regular expression used in EloquenceFix has been significantly
improved to detect harmful text, and the script will now process speech
if the active synthesizer is Eloquence or ViaVoice. It will remain
dormant otherwise. Additionally, error reporting has been added to make
bugs and future improvements easier to implement, and update checks are
available to ensure you always have the latest version of the script
installed. Although the text processing logic will always run, you will
need the latest GW Toolkit to enjoy full functionality.
The Voice Rotor script now sports two additional buttons to move the
selected voice up or down inside the rotor configuration dialog.
Additionally, the GW Toolkit shared object is properly dealth with via
the OnStateChange event, and all script text has been moved to the XML
strings file to ease localization.
Enjoy.
Steve
