If I'm not mistaken, outlook 2007 doesn't allow for editor changes. it
appears it only uses word.
As it is, I managed to fix the problem, how I did it I'm not sure.
I did have outlook running in the back ground and every time I started
Word, I saw on the title bar "document 3" and it wouldn't reset no
matter what I did.
When I shut down Outlook, everything went back to normal.
It's a bit strange but it's all good now.

I know that this can happen in Word 2003 so check your setting in
Outlook if you use it and make sure that you are not using word to
edit your emails.
