I forgot to mention that I am using XP Pro, WE 6.1, word 2003.
WE works just fine selecting text in MS Word, wordpad no problem at all.
The problem arises when I enter the edit field of a .mp3 or any other music
or text file to change the title, that's when WE doesn't read out the words
when I keep arrowing along the line of text before the Extension.
It used to read out the text no problem at all before I installed WE 6.1
I hope I'm making sense!

I just read the email and tried highlighting your text by pressing and

holding down the control and shift keys and pressing the right arrow to
highlight. It read each word as I arrowed across them. After

highlighting a large block I pressed down and held the control and shift
keys and pressed the letter m. This read the entire hightlighted block of

text. I am not sure why you are not able to do this. I have wineyes 6.1

WE used to read selected words out for the purpose of copy/cutting and

pasting when holding down the control-shift keys and pressing the right
or left arrow to select the words, WE no longer reads them out. When

just pressing the control key by itself, WE reads out the words, word by
word no problem at all.

Someone on this list told me sometime ago how to rectify this problem,
but I've forgotten and to make matters worse, I mislayed that particular

email.
