I've read the manual of WE, and far as I can see, the SET file making is so
limited, you couldn't even tell WE to talk backwards if you try. Not to
mention there isn't any info or how-to's to explain command line coding to
tell WE to do some task that it can't do.

This is why WE fall short on support for a lot of programs that other screen
readers work on. I had to dish out over 600 bucks just to have my Sonar 6.2
to be full workable. And yes I know WE has support for Sonar, yet, it's so
lacking, you couldn't even control things like looping and numours other
things.

For one you can't even creat a program to co-aside with SET files to work in
conjunction of most software, for example Dragon Speaking. They ended up
creating separet program that works with the Scripts to better expan the
usefulness of the program.

Sure, talk to these software makers let them know to make there stuff
workable to screen readers. But, in all honesty, when it comes down to it.
You will never get full control of it. That's why there should be a second
option open to Screen readers advance user who has the time and know how to
creat ways to get the control we need to get what we want out of some
software.

Yeah I seen in the manual of converting the SET files to TXT files and sof
forth, yet, it do not give what each and every command and explanation of
what each modual means.

Heck now even Magic, has scripting that works in conjunction with even the
screen reader.

I am greatful that WE is Stable and Cheap, but, why make it so limited? I
want to be able to use Skype also and yet I have yet not even once, seen a
working SET file of Skype that lets me chat and do everything else like in
JFW with help to a free script.

Understand, I love use WE, and I use it almost non-stop, but when I have to
do other task like Sonar and Skype and some other things, I have to resort
to a Unstable but, useful screen reader that gives the power to user of
scripting.
