Hello Steve. I'll mark down your first suggestion regarding putting the table row and collumn information in the insert-tab list. I do not know if it can be donw or if it will be in the next version, but I do have this marked down. As to your second observation, I cannot confirm if perhaps the table has a caption, perhaps we read that information. For example, in the case of headdings, you can see the headding titls while viewing it with insert-tab, but I don't know if something similar happens for the tables if they have a caption defined. I'm sure that Aaron or Doug could answer this to confirm what is happening. Do you know of a web site which has this type of result and is not anything private like a phone bill?

Thanks Raul,
I think I'm getting inconsistencies here now. I just went to view my local telephone bill on line, in which there were 11 tables. Using insert tab plus alt+t to show tables and arrowing to a given table then hitting enter, did bring that correct table into proper focus. Strange how it didn't do so with the other page. Perhaps it's in the coding of the page?
Another oddity, none of the listed tables in the insert tab command indicated how many columns and rows are in the table, even though this information does appear when you type t from within the browser buffer. Is the number of columns and rows identified in insert tab mode now with 6.1? If not, can it be made so in the future?
BTW, one of the tables in my bill, had been tagged by the company with the follwoing additional information:
"Sort your bill by clicking on the column heading. Look up a number you don't recognize by clicking on the telephone number."
Fortunately this additional information also appeared both in the regular t command in the buffer and the insert tab list.
Does it appear in both places in WE 6.1?
Regards,
Steve

Hello Steve. I don't have 5.0 to test this on, but using 6.1, If I go to a table, frame, list, headding, or anything other than a link, the focus is taken there. Meaning, if it was a bug in 5.0, it's been fixed in 6.1. Also, just a reminder, that the difference between activate and focus buttons of the insert-tab dialog only make a difference when links are used to go to. If you choose tables or frames and simply press enter while focused on the list box, it's as if you pressed focus since you can't activate a table, headding, or list. Hope this helps.

Using window eyes 5.0, XP and internet explorer 6, so perhaps this problem has been fixed with the latest version.
I've noticed that if I go to a web page with tables in it, hit insert tab then focus for table listings, I can arrow up and down through the list of tables, but it only says, "table 1 of 7", or table 2 of 7" etc. If I choose to focus on the table with the focus button, internet explorer just sits at the top of the browser buffer, and doesn't focus onto the table as links would focus.
It would be nice if the tag for the table, such as table contains 3 columns and 4 rows" or whatever the html code normally says when you hit the letter t within a browser buffer, would also speak within the insert tab list.
For that matter, can one focus on frames, and all of the other elements in the insert tab list? I'm pretty sure frame focus does work.
Has this been addressed?
Thanks,
Steve
