Hello Steve. I don't have 5.0 to test this on, but using 6.1, If I go to a table, frame, list, headding, or anything other than a link, the focus is taken there. Meaning, if it was a bug in 5.0, it's been fixed in 6.1. Also, just a reminder, that the difference between activate and focus buttons of the insert-tab dialog only make a difference when links are used to go to. If you choose tables or frames and simply press enter while focused on the list box, it's as if you pressed focus since you can't activate a table, headding, or list. Hope this helps.

Subject: The insert t command and table focus
Using window eyes 5.0, XP and internet explorer 6, so perhaps this problem has been fixed with the latest version.
I've noticed that if I go to a web page with tables in it, hit insert tab then focus for table listings, I can arrow up and down through the list of tables, but it only says, "table 1 of 7", or table 2 of 7" etc. If I choose to focus on the table with the focus button, internet explorer just sits at the top of the browser buffer, and doesn't focus onto the table as links would focus.
It would be nice if the tag for the table, such as table contains 3 columns and 4 rows" or whatever the html code normally says when you hit the letter t within a browser buffer, would also speak within the insert tab list.
For that matter, can one focus on frames, and all of the other elements in the insert tab list? I'm pretty sure frame focus does work.
Has this been addressed?
Thanks,
Steve
