Window-Eyes, Vista, Startup Options and Registry Keys

Hello,

The reason Startup Options was not working is because the
registry keys HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\GW Micro,
Inc.\Window-Eyes\Professional and its subkeys and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\GW Micro, Inc.\DECtalk-oem did not
exist. After I had uninstalled Window-Eyes
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\GW Micro, Inc.\Window-Eyes and
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\GW Micro, Inc.\Window-Eyes were not
removed. I initially installed Window-Eyes by not using the Quick
Install option, but went through the whole installation process. I
re-installed using the Quick Install and the keys were added and
Startup Options work. Window-Eyes had not been previously installed
on this machine and I don't have the time to go through and uninstall
and remove the registry keys and test both installation types.

I hope this is of some use to you.
