Fri, Jan 18, 2013 9:54:46 amHi Rod
Ok no problems, well as for composing my messages in perhaps
word, sometimes you have to be quick, some people as I found
the other day send one message followed by another.
How often does gw micro up-date gw connect? Again I suppose
it depends on skype. It is great as it is though.

Dear Adrien,
GW Micro is not able to upgrade GWConnect yet, because they
need a new kit
from Skype. Until then, you won't be able to do that. You
also have to
still log in with your Skype name and password, unlike
Skype, where you use
your Microsoft account username and password.
By the way, spell-check is not available in GWConnect, but
why not compose
your messages in a program which has a spell-checker, like
Word, and then
paste them into GWConnect? Just a thought. :)
Cheers,
Rod :)

Hi Rod
Yeh I see it now, one group is the ones on-line and the
other group is the ones off line, don't quite work what all
the different groups are for. One other thing, I have merged
my facebook with skype, how do I see my facebook contacts in
gwconnect please, I can see them in skype itself.

Dear Adrien,
They are sorted alphabetically, but there are two groups,
Skype Out and
Skype Contacts. So, within each group, they are indeed
sorted.
Hope this helps. :)
Take care,
Rod :)

Hi
Ok thanks, I got it.
Can I just ask one more question please. My contacts in
gwconnect are not in alphabetical order, in skype itself
they are, how do I sort them, I can't see in any of the
menus an option for this.

Hit control F from within the GW Connect window/list view of
contacts. Then
the dialogue will present self-explanitorily, asking you to
either search by
skype name, full name, or email.

hello, Gerry and all,
Gerry, what you can do at this moment if you want to check
if there were any
missed calls while you were away from your computer is to
check the recent
conversations list to see if any new events show up at the
top. with
GWConnect I can see no other way. maybe someone else comes
up with a better
idea.

One thing you might consider for the redirection of your
audio sources is
cyber audio cable, which works quite well with GW-Connect. I
use it every
day for many things audio wise and it may help you.

Hello there folks.
I was wondering.
Is there any way that GW connect can show a history
of missed calls
witht eh option to call them back?
This would be quite helpful to me. Also something
else I was
thinking.
Is there a way for GW connecto, when you place a
person on hold,
switch to another soundcard's output temporarily for use
with music on hold
players?
If not, can these things be implemented?
Thanks allot.
