Dear Scott,

Yes, I did the same myself, and I found I had to use my original Skype name
and password to log in with GWConnect, even though Skype wants us to use our
Windows Live ID and password. However, as I understand it, GW Micro can
only update GWConnect after Skype releasesn a upgraded kit to those who want
to develop apps. In other words, we'll just have to be patient. In the
meantime, GWConnect works just as it always did...just fine. :)

I just merged my skype and messenger accounts together because of the email
I received, and discovered that gw connect can't work with this new system.
It won't log in. Will there be an update coming soon to fix this issue? I
rather imagine I'm probably not the first to ask this, but I just joined the
list. Thanks for any help you can give.
